"The task of the leader is to get his people from where they are to where they have not been" -Henry Kissinger
Mario Snowden was born at University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, and attended grade school in the Shaker Square-Buckeye area. Mario's parents and grandparents instilled in him the meaning of character and the power in prayer from a young age. He was taught the value and strength of a close community through lessons about the Civil Rights Movement. Along with witnessing the painful reality of how generational struggles impacts our community.
Mario went to college at the age of 17, where he rented his first apartment to attend the University of Akron. During his time away, he learned firsthand the struggles and hardships that many families in Ward 4 know too well.
